Community Legal Aid, the civil legal services provider for low-income and elderly residents of central and western Massachusetts, seeks a full-time receptionist who will provide support for the staff in its Fitchburg office. We are also seeking a temporary receptionist for our Worcester office for a period of six months.  Full time hours are preferred, but part time is negotiable. The receptionist will work with a team of individuals dedicated to providing free, high-quality legal services to their clients. Duties include answering telephone calls, greeting visitors, screening clients, data entry, filing, and other clerical tasks. The receptionist will also interpret and translate for Spanish-speaking clients.

Please specify in your cover letter or application what receptionist position you are applying for: the full time receptionist in our Fitchburg office, or the temporary receptionist  in our Worcester office, or both.  Please also specify that you are bilingual in English and Spanish.  


Qualifications: The individual must be bilingual in English and Spanish. Strong client service orientation. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure. Ideal candidate will have a demonstrated concern for and commitment to the goals of legal services and to helping low-income people, and have prior experience as a receptionist or secretary.
